It's been dry for some time now.

The Camaro seems to be running strong.
It's able to hold the lead.
So we will see what happens at the 24hr mark ..!

I'm pleasantly surprised to see Mike Rockenfeller and Lucas Luhr driving prototypes in the race.
I thought they only raced for Audi in the LeMans Series.
I guess it's ok. to do a little cross-series driving..

I also noticed that Jan Magnussen and Jorg Bergmeister are driving GT cars.
I kinda' hope Magnussen beats Bergmeister after Bergmeister wrecked him on the last lap of the last race of the ALMS last year.
Bergmeister was driving dirty.

The key to endurance is....endurance and it's always best to bet on one of Dr. Ferdinand's cars. Good luck to the Camaro guys, but you have an uphill battle on your hands.

Magnussen is running some redonkulous lap times right now though. He's 18sec behind P1 and going 2-3sec a lap faster than VanOverbeek (who is a jacka$$).

The Camaro is back out in 1st in class and 9th overall as the race coverage is about to start back up on Speed.

Camaro looks twitchy every time it's on camera,rearend looks like it wants to constantly come around.

Local PG boy Jonathan Bomarito in the #70 GT RX-8 was 5th in class when Speed signed off last night,car is currently 1st in class with less than 4 hrs to go.:1st:

I was wondering what happened...they were leading in class, then I lost track of them. I took the kids over to the farm to sleigh ride and when we got back I didn't see them.

I was hoping the DP #01 would catch the #9, but I guess that pit stop to the garage was too much to overcome.

Just thought I'd put up some pics from the race. I was there as a co-sponsor of the #18 Guardian Angel Motorsports (www.guardianangelmotorsports.com (http://www.guardianangelmotorsports.com)) / TRG Porsche GT3. We were doing really well for a bunch of non-pros and even up to 13th at one point during the early morning but blew our trans-axel around 5:30AM and that put us out. This was the sophmore running for Guardian Angel which is a charity for children (you can donate at https://donate.guardianangelmotorsports.com) and any amount is super appreciated.

Not a bad 1st outing for the Camaros. I was impressed, but I wished the 97 could've finished with all of its sheet metal intact.

Also, find me a used Cayenne block pronto!
