I drove right by that on my way home. That tent was flying around in the wind like a big sheet. They even closed the one side of the freeway closest to the auction. All the tents at Barret were fine though only a 1/2 mile or so away.

On Youtube there are many videos of the storm, several of the large tent as it begins to lift and start collapsing.
I cannot imagine watching my own car getting beaten by the poles and rigging.
Nobody died in the incident, but the carnage on several 100K cars and rare cars was brutal.
This video gives you an idea of the size of 'tent', watch out for an expletive or 2...

The last car is no loss...actually looks better. I wouldn't say the others are necessarily "destroyed" either.
