Hi Everyone,
Been off / on here for a bit, just wanted to post an official "Hello" to all the PT's on here. I see there's no shortage of knowledge and comments on here, makes for good times.
As I get more serious and knowledgeable about PT, I will continue to search this site for information.
I live about 30 minutes West from Toronto. I drive a 1970 Chevelle Convertible, owned since 1998.
Daily driver and rolling restoration all-in-one, :)
Mild 350, 3 spd Auto, buckets, console, SS Wheels, drums all around still.
Heres a pic:

I love to drive the wheels of it and put about 20,000 miles on it Summer 2008-2009, Top down as much as possible.
Heres a pic (edited) with some other Canadian Rodders (80 of them) in New Brunswick:

I guess my first important question is:
Can a convertible car perform to Pro-Touring standards? Is a roll-bar or point cage required or can a beefed up convertible frame suffice?
