Just got our copy of Camaro Performers here at Anvil and I was blown away with the awesome coverage of bad ass Camaros. Our own Jim Shipka and Steve Lenning are in the magazine with their 67 and 69 Camaros. The photography is fantastic, and the coverage is great. Two very nice cars and much deserved coverage.

Congrats for sure picked up the issue last night, looks fantastic!
Great shots of the cars. The February calendar 'pin up' just hit my office wall.
OLC is a dialed in beast can't wait until we can play together... if it ever comes home?

Awesome issue! Thanks to Steve for the great pictures and writing and to he and Nick for putting together another great magazine. Congratulations to all of the other members in the issue as well - it's impressive how well represented (if not "influential") our community here is!

And thanks to this board for giving me the "has pro-touring jumped the shark" idea for the story.

Ha ha,possession is 9-tenths of the law,lol...right Mary?:enguard:
Mary has declared the suspension "done" and, with the exception of new wheels (coming soon - thanks Jason) and tires (waiting for the One Lap of America final rules) we are good to go so the car is going to see only limited track time between now and the One Lap of America which is 86 days away...
On that same note... thanks tons to David and Mary for all their help - it's amazing the changes that have we have been able to make this year and particularly in the last six weeks (conveniently after the OUSCI... hmmm...). I look back to how the car was a year ago and how it is now... wow! What an improvement.

I wish it was easier to choose ten of the best feature cars, but it just isn't. I hate leaving some cars out, because we don't feature them unless they're totally fr*ggin bas a*s! :worship:
I can tell already the top ten for next year is going to be even more difficult. Damn...

P.S. Hey Steve L, sorry it took so long for your car to make it into the mag.

Is that why we always choose 11 cars for the top 10? Were you in Spinal Tap???

I will plan on seeing you at the Road America stop on the One Lap. I usually go up there to hang out. I just realized that the Optima Batteries event is scheduled for the same day at Road America.

Thanks Jeff... David and I look forward to seeing you - we run the long course at Road America in the morning and the short course in the afternoon then have a 571 mile drive to Mid America Motorplex in Pacific Junction, IA for Sunday's events.
With respect to scheduling... :lurk: ...for now

I heard today Saturday could be Autocross day at the Optima event, so we will have to see what happens. I have always wanted to do the One Lap, so good luck, we will be rooting for you.
