Dave - Finksburg resident here...

Plenty of shows in the MD area. Check out the Glen Burnie shows on Saturday and certainly be part of the OC Cruise week in mid May.

We should see if we can plan an event like the RTTH's event in TN. Maybe in the mountains of WV or PA for all of the Mid Atlantic Guys. I'm sure we can find a nice twisty road we could do a cruise on. There is a road course at Summit Point WV and Mason Dixon Dragway is only about 45 minuets from there. If I could find a lot for an autocross I would investigate the possibility further. Just a thought since there seems to be a strong showing from this region.

Yeah, and Dundalk Avenue is NOT kind to lowered vehicles! :crying: I saw some post about a cruise night...if you're looking, check out the Lowe's in Abingdon every Friday night during the summer. I actually stopped going because I could never find a parking space...if I did, I couldn't maneuver my 20 foot Buick into it! Also, the K-Mart on Belair Rd. in Parkville on Saturday nights...I think the Wal-Mart in Whitemarsh has one also on Saturday nights. Huge turnouts at these things. Abingdon, we're talking 300+

Phenometron, the show at lowes is organized by the maryland chevelle club, im a member. For a while they had a guy with a huge inflatible screen and he would show old car commercials and old drag races, really neat stuff!

I was a regular starting just after it moved from the Abingdon Drive In to the parking lot in front of the furniture store. Hit the Lowes a couple of times, but I can never safely park my car there! And yeah, my father-in-law knew half those guys in the videos! We told him about them...we just can't get him out to check out the cars though. He'd love it, for sure. Says he "doesn't mess with that stuff anymore" and he's full of it. He's been talking about building an old deuce or something.

Yeah, try Main St. when it snows! LOL Makes it real tough to get any sleep when you have to get up for work the next morning. Honestly, I'm not sure. I don't have an ATV, but from what I understand there are all kinds of trails around here. I think most are on private property now, though.

Shop? I posted a few weeks ago about my looking for shops in northern to central MD. Do they do pro-touring type work?

No, he specializes in turbo cars, mostly buick gn's and t-types. He has a dyno and he is well known for performance tuning.
