Hey guys! It's been a long time since I've been able to get on the forums.
Hope everyone is doing well!
We made the hood from Razor a direct repalcement for guys that were interested.
Specs:
Made with woven fiberglass for strength
Vacuum bagged with a high temp epoxy resin unlike most fiberglass hoods on the market
Nomex honeycomb core for strength
Aluminum hard points so you can drill and tap for hinges and latch
Sprayed with an in mold catalyzed primer for easier finishing body work

The quality of this hood is second to none.
True and straight hood
Installation easy as sand, prime, sand and paint!

Hood weighs 34 lbs

Thank you!

kinda heavy My fiberglass weighs in under half of that and has zero deflection. My steel hood weighed 42lbs.

I believe when Jim and I talked about it he said it would fit the 67-69. I will confirm that tomorrow.

$1150 plus about $120 in freight.

We are not here to compare sizes - especially when you consider the size of Mike's feet. I mean come on he can wear my shoes.

It's hard to tell from the pictures and all of the pictures I can find of the Razor actually never show good shots of the hood, what are the differences in the cowl?

Does it start closer to the front edge of the hood?
Does it slope longer than original cowl hoods?
Does the extra long overhang limit the hood from opening all the way?
Also, any possibility of a Group Purchase to help the cost a little, or could it be packaged with your hinges and hood stops?
Thanks

There aren't a lot of shots of the hood. Below is a shot I had that might help?
I will get back to you on your questions on Monday. I have to get some technical help!

I will see what I can do about a bundle price too.

You guys should experiment with the opening to see how it lines up with popular side mounted Procharger models ( P1SC, D1SC, F1, F1A, F1C, F1R). It could be a good solution to cold air induction on an rear facing Procharger/Vortec blower......
