I have a set of brembos (14" front w/ 6 pistons, 12" rear w/ 4 pistons)... and would like to know if anyone knows just how big I will need to go.
I was figuring 18s. Doubt there are any 17s that could clear these! I really don't want to go bigger than 18, just because the tire options (and skimpy sidewalls) are kinda lame. '72 GTO rear wheel wells are big and hard to fill (diameter wise).
THANKS!

Do you know what the overall diameter of your brake kit is? I can tell you based on that measurement.

We are a Brembo dealer. No way will any 17 fit. the caliper radius is 200MM, which is much more then even a step lip 17 has.
18s should be fine depending on wheels style.
As for tire selection, there are a lot of 18s available and they will fill the wheel well better then 17s anyway.
We build a lot of this stuff, if you need any additional info or advice, call me

I figured that 18s oughta work... I was just worried that I'd have to go up to 20s - and then some tires with NO sidewall.
18s are fine... I know that there are plenty of options to go really wide and still get a decent profile.
I'm just in the early planning stages. I already have the brakes, both front & rear - I just need to get the front calipers.
Thanks for the input, guys.
