Could you guys go to http://www.t56kit.com and test my new intro to the site?
I want to know how long it loads, if the animation is smooth, and if you like the presentation of it.
Thanks!
Tyler

Tyler, Works fine for me too. I have a DSL connection and the intro started instantly and completed in about 10 seconds or so.

Tyler 9 seconds, click to finish. DSL with way more processor than I will ever need.

Worked great for me. I wish the animation was a little slower though. Cable internet went damn quick. I couldn't even start the stopwatch.

:woot:

Good, I wanted an intro that loaded and was over so quick that most people will not skip it.
I'm glad it works and looks great.
A huge thank you to all who made it possible:
Chris Walden- Web designer and programmer for Ashcan.net (Camarorider on this board)
John McBride-Logo design and body kit design for ATS (Johnny GMachine on this board)
Kris Horton- Animation, and 3-D rendering of the intro, as well as multiple renderings on T56kit.com
Thanks a bunch!!

The intro and site are great. In the gallery there is this pic of a digital car by Kris, a red camaro, would you have a larger pic of it? That has got to be one of the best looking first gen camaros i've seen (even though its not real)

Uh....Sled. That is a real car. :hand:

Real enough it made it into the pages of Popular Hotrodding and is owned by fellow PT.com member...."Harshman".

The site loads fast and looks great!

but isn't it a little too small? I mean it only fills about 50% of my screen...

14 seconds to load (but our internet here at work sucks, even at this hour). Looks good though.

Loaded and ran instantly. 7 seconds from beginning to end. Did you make that on an animated gif animator? Similar to my avatar just a lot bigger?

Loaded VERY fast here at work (fast DSL line).. almost instantly.. I like it :)

Actually it went sorta too fast.. i wanted to see the car a bit more.. maybe a bit slower turn and linger a bit more on the side profile shot before the fade away..

I kept hitting replay so I must of liked it ;)

I appreciate all the comments. This was made with Flash and the images of the car were each compressed then run thru a video compressor that works with the flash player.

That came out really nice. Perhaps the original video could be available for download? When I made it, I remember it being slower and a lot cleaner, but due to website resources, video or GIF files can only be so big...

Either way, it looks great!

Tyler,

You are REALLY doing a nice job of promoting your company with this site! Kudos to all of you guys who put it together.

I can't wait to come out there for a visit sometime.... Hopefully the Power Tour will swing through sin-city sometime!
