Guys, I need some help. I have a 69 Camaro, Le Manns Blues (view my garage if you want to see the car). I just ordered a set of boze shifter wheels, 18x8's F 18x10's R. The wheel is a pro-touring wheel and I need some good recommendations on tires that would compliment the wheel and the car thanks!!

Ton's of great tires out there, you'll get as many opinions as answers here.

What type of driving do you plan on doing? Are you looking for wet traction?
Contact someone knowledgeable like Jon Henson @ www.driverzinc.com for suggestions in your price range.

Sounds like you're after 245/45's or 40's in front and 275/40's in back,I have that same wheel sizing setup as you and run Nitto N555's Jon set me up with, great all-around tire at a reasonable price.

I'm in roughly the same boat with my wheels, Raceline GT's. I've got 18x8 and 18x9's.

I'll be mostly street driving and was thinking of going with 235/40 or 245/40's front and 285/40's rear.

Looking at the BFG G-Force T/A KDW2 mostly. Please, let me know what you find out.

good luck with your search!

Tires are mostly a personal preference when it comes to brands. Sometimes we just fall in love with a tread pattern. I've had good luck with both the Nitto INVO tire and the Nitto 555 tires. I mounted a set of their new NT05 tires last night for a customer, they were nice looking tires. www.nittotire.com

I also like the BFG KDW2 tread pattern and grip. Tires are a bit noisy, but you won't hear them if your exhaust is loud.

You should be looking for 245 wide fronts, 275 rears if you want no-hassle fitment issues with the 69.

245/40/18 and 275/40/18's. Just like guys the said. Nitto 555 are a great tire and if you are looking for something with a little more bite the NT05 is a good way to go. We sell a ton of them so if you need help feel free to give us a call.

I was going to suggest a 285 on the rear, or a 235 on the front, since the 245 on an 8" will look fatter than the 275 on the 10", but I am not sure on fitment in the rear for the Camaro.
They are all still within proper size for the wheel though. The front will definitely have more sidewall bulge.

I'm looking at the NT01's for my 75 TA. I never see rain so the trad is not an issue. I want the sticky compound. I'm also looking at the NT05's. The Invo and 555's are too hard a compound. In a daily driver those would be great. If it's a weekend car, go for a stickier tire.
