So the other day I "found" an LT1 T56. In the past I would not have bothered with the trouble it takes to make one work in a 1st Gen, but through links and discussions here and some help from Weir's its going in my big block 67. local race shop is goping to go through it and beef up what we can. So, coil overs, tubular control arms, handle bar, Forgeline 18x8, and 18x11, mini tub, T56, hydraullic clutch, sub frame connectors, Wilwood 6 pistons and I'm slowly on my way to a very mild PT car. Geeze you guys are killin me. I got to stay off the internet. Thanks PT.com!!!!!!!

sounds like you'll need to be changing your screen name pretty soon.......

I feel your "pain", because of this site I'm doing way more than originally planned (and budgeted) for. Suspension, brakes, electrical, etc.

...and I still keep coming back, several times a day :-)

Hey! i resemble that remark...
It's not an illness, but there is no cure either, you're just going to have to live with your 'condition'...

 I know the feeling RJ. Before I came onto the PT sites, my car was going to get a leaf/spring ladder bar rear suspension (the guy who was helping me was really out of date), stock subframe with Speed Tech tubular arms, a 383 and a TKO600 conversion. Since finding the sites my car now has: Speed Tech subframe and arms, prodigy bar rear suspension, L92 conversion with TKO600, minitubs, smooth firewall, etc. It's an addiction I tell you!!!!

Its an addiction for sure! I would probably be better off if I didnt have internet where I find stuff I suddenly "need"! Oh well!

coil overs
tubular control arms
handle bar
Forgeline 18x8, and 18x11
mini tub
LT1
T56
hydraullic clutch
sub frame connectors
Wilwood 6 pistons

All deemed *Mild*.

The only thing you'll have left is spindles and an axle and there will be nothing else to replace, lol.

Mild would be like coil-overs and sway bar. Those Forgelines are going to run more than the KBB value on a good portion of used cars, without including the tires in the price.

Oh! I forgot I have Global West spindles on it lol.

My screen name comes from a car I had a long time ago. It was a 93 T/A with a stroker in it that I built pretty well. I was stationed down south in Alabama and people would want street races (which we don't condone) and they would ask me if it was fast. I'd say, "Nah, it aint quick" and then scare people :) So that became my plate and when the internet came out my sceen names. With the 468 in it this car aint quick too :)

This is a fun hobby if you don't get over your head. Today I picked up the T56. I got it for $100. Needless to say I'm pretty excited about it.
