I'm wanting to upgrade to disc brakes on my '66 F-85 & noticed the CPP 12" brake stock height spindles. My plans include keeping my 15" steel wheels & dog caps, but w/ the SC&C arms & tall b-joints down the road.

Anyone heard anything about these before I buy them?

I like the idea of doing this in stages & keeping my 15" wheels in the mean time.

Thanks!

Man, I don't understand what you are saying on that exactly?

I think you can put the CPP stuff right on there no problem. You can upgrade to the tall ball joint stuff later as well no problem. That's two different projects as far as I can see.

What exactly are you trying to find out?

might need to be careful about backspacing if you switch to the tall joints and spc arms, I think if you had more than about 5" BS you would probably hit the arm.

I thought the spindles were new that used the 1LE rotors & 2nd gen. camaro calipers w/ an intergrated steering arm & caliper mount.

I'd be running the 15x7 stock steels for a while....

Thanks!!
