I ordered it complete bolt-in with disc brakes and I put it all together ready to install. So I pulled out my stock 10 bolt, put the 9" under the car and raised the rear section of the leaf springs and went about the install, just like I've done on other cars with friends.

Here's where the problems begin! So first off I needed to get new U-bolts no big deal right? Hung the rearend put the u-bolts in place and started to tighten them on the driver's side, about finger tight, then moved to passenger side and did the same, after I thought it was in place I tightened everything up, passenger side first then driver's side.... Got it all installed tightened up put the wheels on lowered the car to the ground and noticed the car wasn't sitting right. The passenger side I have about an 1 1/2" from fenderwell to tire at the top of the fenderwell, and on the drivers side I have about 7/8-1" of clearance on the same measurement. So I rocked the car back and forth, thinking maybe it will shift or "settle" in place and nothing happened... So I let it sit on the ground under its own weight for 2 days and its still sitting at the same about 1/4-3/8 off shifted to the left (driver's side).... The old rearned was centered when removed. Nothing has changed at all with the car. The spring perch to backing plate on the new rearend was measurement was the same on both sides so I know they are not causing my problems...

Any ideas or thoughts or suggestions on what to do now?

It looks like you have 2 options here, you can either take the axle back out and cut the perches off yourself and weld new ones on in the proper location or you can have it sent back to Currie and make them fix it. I think you may just be better off doing it yourself. Cut the welds of the old perches and grind the tubes smooth. Place the new perches in place and loosely bolt the axle in place. Set it in the rite stop side to side and for the correct pinion angle then tack weld the perches on. Take the axle back out and fully weld the perches on and paint it then reinstall.

Sounds like you tightened the spring hardware with the rear hanging in the air causing some binding once lowered. I'd try loosening the hardware then retightening with the axle on jackstands supporting the weight of the car.

I agree with NOT A TA that you should loosen the bolts up a little and then rock it around on the ground.
Any suspension component should basically be tighten when it has load on it, not jacked up or in the air.

Who ordered it? Sounds like they ordered it center up, need to be offset 1/2"

You have to realize your measurement is only off by a 1/4 inch. Having 1 1/2" on the P.S. and 1" on the drivers means, if you move the axle 1/4" to the P.S., you'll have 1 1/4" clearance on both. PERFECT! Loosen the hardware, center the axle and then retighten.
