I got a smoking deal on a Wilwood 6 piston Big brake kit for 1993-1997 Camaro, and I want to adapt it to work on a 1976 Trans Am I am building, anyone got any ideas?? I already pinged the boys over at Kore3... But any help would be greatly appreciated :)

I do not think anything from that kit will work on your car. That is set up for a hub mount mount, unless you can find a way to adapt the late model hubs. Unfortunately by the time your done, you will have a million dollars in the set up.

I had thought the 93-97 have the same hub as the corvette and s-10 trucks? If so, why would these not work? You would just have to make up your own bracket.
Is this wrong?

Is this the kit that you have:

I would think all you need to do is make the appropriate bracket that will mount the caliper in the proper location to the rotor. You will have to take a rotor from the car & have it turned down to make a "hub" (unless it has front drums), and machine the spindle to mount the bracket for the caliper.

And you will have to buy a set of $900 spindles or become very friendly with your local machinest.

you just need to either make a hub by cutting off the rotor from your stock rotor or get an aftermarket hub, you also will need caliper brackets and deeper rotor hats, and you will need to cut off the stock caliper integral mounts.
In other words all you can use from the kit are the calipers, rotor, pads
