With darker colored wheels (with no more skinnes up front) and getting rid of the big stupid roots blower, it'd be awesome

I like it except for the cheesy looking rocker extensions-oh,and I don't like cars with junk sticking through the hood.

It gets a bad ass award from me for just being on the drag strip with stickies.

Nope - they are worse (massive heat generation) people just don't know any better

Not feeling it either. Very nice paint job and body work. Don't like the GE's also. Looks stubby from a side view. Like the front's been shortened also. I give it credit for craftsmanship.

this is another example of the cartooning of the PT culture. it happens to all the genres; after everyone does the same thing, the next guy needs to go even FURTHER, bigger wheels, lower, faster shinyer, etc.
it looks like this guy opened up his new hot wheels and said 'that's what I'm gonna build!'
I'm all for pushing the envelope, but sometimes when you push the envelope, you punch a hole right through it and you get an undriveable mess.

The proportions remind me of the 2010 Camaro. I think it's the combination of chopped roof and over sized wheels that does it.
For me, it's the grill that messes things up.

Aside from the lower valance, I really think it is a bad ass looking car. The body work looks nice, and there seems to be good fit and finish on the body panels.

The chop looks really good. The proportions don't mess up the rest of the car.

This looks like styling from a Pantera and Testarossa applied to a Camaro body. I kinda really like it.

See what happens when American muscle leaves the USA!!!!
Not feelin it!! Thumb down!!!
Maybe cause its a dated pict. 10-15 years ( I hope)
Outside of the USA just doesnt have the same taste for modifications.
Out of curiosity... Whos responsible for switching the steering and brakes on overseas cars?? The factory before it leaves, knowing its destination?? Or once its gets overseas they install for opposite side of street driving???

It's funny how over the years certain things are the only way to get something done, and the there becomes a better, safer, sometimes cheaper way, but yet people still only do it that way because of nostalgia... I cant knock the concept good example the 40-50 era hot-rods but the extreme is sometimes laughable...

You're absolutely correct. It looks like the Interceptor from the original Mad Max movie. I love that movie and it has one of the greatest chase scenes ever!!!!!!

This car is a 68, and the fenders are radiused heavily. ...not feeling this 68. It's a car from the US. It was in an old hot rod magazine about 10 years ago...hence the old fashioned wheels

I think the '67 looks much better. The proportions are much better with the stock looking fender radiuses. IMO.

Looks pretty cool to me. Does anyone else remember a black 68 Camaro in Hot Rod magazine back in the mid 90s I think, it had an olds 455 with a front wheel drive transaxle mounted in the back, so it was basically a mid engine set up. The article said the guy had modified every panel except for the roof. If I was home I'd dig through my old mags and see if I could find it and scan some pics. It looked like a pretty cool car other than the transaxle was just a 3 speed auto.

I think it was called Cam-Aero. Was it a Boyd thing?

call me crazy, but i kinda like the proportions on the 68 better.... i feel like the chop on the 67 makes the front fenders and waist line look way too tall... that being said, i prefer a stock bodied first gen to both, haha.
