I've gotta tell ya, there are few times I'm impressed with customer service. Lots of big promises and always disappointment. However, Frank at Prodigy has constantly gone out of his way to offer advice, and rock bottom pricing. Anybody can sell you crap, but when a guy will sit on the phone with you for 15 minutes and give away valuable trade secrets of what works and how to do it is almost unbelievable. It has saved me so much trouble already, not to mention his prices are better than competitive, they almost always end up lower.

I had a Wilwood dynalite (4 piston) front kit for my 67 Camaro. Frank got me a rear Wilwood kit, upgraded with 6 piston calipers. Those calipers can go on the front and I can use the dynalites on the rear. In the end I didn't have to eat 2 new 4 piston calipers because I wanted to go bigger, and his price just about got me the 6 pistons for free! Then, he says do you want a master cylinder and I say yeah. So he gives me a ridiculous price on that, then throws in a proportinoing valve for free. When its all said and done I'm coming into a full brake kit for half what I expected to pay and he turned a big "doah" on my part, getting 4 pistons by mistake, into a great friggin deal.

I know there are a bunch of good guys on this forum. Frank is one of them. Very happy to do business with Prodigy. I hope this is appropriate, but with a bunch of vendor bashing on the forums I visit, its nice to hear about some that go out of the way to help out us car guys.

Frank built me a roller and I've bought damn near everything from him. He's as good as they get. One ugly sob but someone you can trust.:1st:

Hahah! Now thats not very nice Vegas... Yup, Frank is fantastic. Though I am not completely convinced he isn't Wolfman Jack with that voice....

Frank and Marcus at SC&C are THE benchmarks when it comes to customer service.

I swear on my life Frank told me if my wheels weren't done in time a few months back he would go over and visit the wheel guy. He said, "I'm a big guy, the wheel guy is not" lol.

That was when I was considering a company I had nothing but back luck with. Turns out, Frank turned me on to Forgeline and I got my wheels in 4 weeks, over 2 holidays which I thought was pretty impressive. I guess when you are top 5 in sales for a bunch of these manufacturers you gots some pull.

heck yeah, Prodigy customs is by far the best company I've had the pleasure of working with in the hotrodding industry. He finished my bird for me, and has been there every step of the way, going above and beyond--my family says i've spent so much time on the phone with him I'm starting to sound like him every time I start to talk cars, though!

It just so happens we are strong enough with Wilwood, Top 10 in sales, to do something others probably cannot, like do the caliper swap and put the wrong calier for the kit, fo you so you have the right caliper for your front. Saves you $180 doing it the way were doing.

Your building a cool project and we are proud to be part of it.

That's kind of the point, I'm building it with some help from a few local guys here in Colorado, there is no real reason for you guys to step out and go above and beyond for a guy who does not have a car in YOUR shop. That is incredible customer service and I think we all appreciate it!

I absolutely agree. There are folks like Frank who deserve public thanks. All too often we hear the horror stories (like the chassis story a day or so ago with welds made of metal colored caulking). It's important to let folks know not only where the dirt bags are, but where the quality guys are. Frank and Lisa at Prodigy (as well as Marcus at SC&C as mentioned earlier) definitely fall into the "good guys" category. For those of us located in spots where well run shops are hard to find, getting even long distance help from Frank and Mark is invaluable.

Frank,

This gave me a great idea. I will post the questions here but if you rather I call i can do that as well.

First, if I have the 4 piston dynalite 11.75" rotor wilwood kit for the falcon. it has the offset hub design. i was thinking changing to the dynapro 6 lug mount. Would this be a bolt on caliper. Would i see an increase in stopping power? i see the piston area is actually smaller than the 4 piston. so is this just a "for show" caliper?

Is there a 6 piston that would be better? and would bolt on to my current kit?

my plan was to get a disc brake kit for the rear and use the 4 piston calipers in the back and upgrade to a 6 in the front.

next question, on a different project. 65 mustang with 14" diameter wheels. I am trying to source a wilwood kit that would fit inside this wheel. i think a 10.75" rotor would fit. Do you have any insight?

That right there tells you that Frank isnt in this hobby just to make a living.

Getting all philosophical... If more people understood this, the world would be a better place. With customer service like Frank provides, he is helping to build the community and truly contribute.

If you have dynalite calipers the 120-10123 is a direct bolt on and can work with as small as a 10" rotor. There are several bolt on 6 piston calipers. The part number listed has bigger pistons. Do some research, I'm no expert, but its what I found out this week when I called.

Faclon,

Aintqik went to school on htis, LOL! We have 2 different piston sizes Dymapro 6 calipers for you to9 choose from.

There is a new 65 Musang 11" kit the replaces the 10.75 kit and that 11" keeps the track at stock instead of pushing the track width wider. And it CAN clear some 14" wheels. You have measure the insde of your particular wheel. Some factory wheels are a tick over 13" diameter in the inner wheels, some are almost 11"! So measure your wheel and call me
