what cam to use?i have 4.8 from 2002 truck, have edelbrock ls1 carb intake ,will be using ez-efi from f.a.s.t, with 4 speed with 3.11 first gear and 2.73 or 3.08 gears, in 1979 nova,

What heads? WHat range of power are u wanting in the rpms?

stock heads , the intake is 1500 to 6500rpms

With the same intakeand engine you have, I've seen a stock Z06 cam with long tube headers put 317 hp to the rear wheels and you pick them up on LS1tech.com for cheap. Right now there is a new in the box 1 for 200.
