Had it not to understand is WHY USE GOOGLE TRANSLATOR OF

Hello people I introduce myself .. my name is dario de Argentina, I'm 21 years old, I like cars a lot and most of all I love more than anything to work with old cars! jaja .. 9 months ago bought a '71 Chevy coupe to restore ... is excellent for mechanical, the engine is a little clock, and inside is a crazy thing! The trouble is that sheet metal is very bad, as the floor of the trunk, the driver and passenger (to a lesser amount), a couple of places not so complicated, and worst of all ... the ceiling. The chevy was standing 3 ½ years out in the sun, rain and other ... the worst part is that I had vinyl roof, so just imagine how I found it when I throw down!
as you know is not easy to restore old cars in Argentina because parts are not manufactured here as alla costs money and is restoring a car of this class --- so we're managing with what we have in wrecking and whatever is on sale ---
well, I'll show you a couple of photos of when they buy it and eventually show you how the project was moving forward if you are interested ...

.. VERY GOOD FORUM!

Hi guys! Today I show the new tires will be in the coupe .. are not so great .. are 17 "Measures are 215-65-17 for the rear tires and 215-55-17 for the front wheels ... are not large but they are beautiful!

https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif (http://img166.imageshack.us/i/imagen0022.jpg/)https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif (http://img2.imageshack.us/i/imagen005j.jpg/)

beginning with the trunk show like this ---- draw conclusions

https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif (http://img165.imageshack.us/i/1001777.jpg/)

started to pull the paint thoroughly and remove all the rust

https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif (http://img258.imageshack.us/i/1001767.jpg/)https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif (http://img139.imageshack.us/i/1001775m.jpg/)

we get the engine repaired and painted later

https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif (http://img299.imageshack.us/i/imagen003xod.jpg/)https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif (http://img216.imageshack.us/i/moto0460.jpg/)

now show them what we did with the roof ... I found a 1973 in a wrecking coupe, we are getting the roof to replace mine

https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif (http://img412.imageshack.us/i/1001891.jpg/)https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif (http://img412.imageshack.us/i/1001892.jpg/)https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif (http://img402.imageshack.us/i/1001894.jpg/)https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif (http://img402.imageshack.us/i/1001895.jpg/)https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif (http://img412.imageshack.us/i/1001902.jpg/)https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif (http://img219.imageshack.us/i/1002072i.jpg/)https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif (http://img219.imageshack.us/i/1002071.jpg/)https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif (http://img204.imageshack.us/i/1002070.jpg/)

hola gente! thank you very much for the comments!

I'll keep showing pictures of what he was made a little time

completely remove the hood the paint .... PHOSPHATIZANT and then apply anti-corrosive paint
Then I had to send him to fix the holes that have ...

https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif (http://img516.imageshack.us/i/1002031.jpg/)https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif (http://img516.imageshack.us/i/1002030.jpg/)https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif (http://img179.imageshack.us/i/1002039.jpg/)https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif (http://img516.imageshack.us/i/1002037.jpg/)https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif (http://img179.imageshack.us/i/1002038.jpg/)

the same work was done with this ...

https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif (http://img521.imageshack.us/i/1002083.jpg/)https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif (http://img237.imageshack.us/i/1002086.jpg/)https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif (http://img237.imageshack.us/i/1002093.jpg/)

these are many parts to send to sand, to completely remove the rust, especially where you can not get disc and grinder

https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif (http://img26.imageshack.us/i/1002096t.jpg/)https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif (http://img26.imageshack.us/i/1002100v.jpg/)https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif (http://img183.imageshack.us/i/1002102.jpg/)https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif (http://img140.imageshack.us/i/1002107.jpg/)

this will stay a little paint Chassis

https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif (http://img140.imageshack.us/i/1002109.jpg/)

these discs work with inside and outside and sand where it could not

https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif (http://img183.imageshack.us/i/1002103.jpg/)

here is all painted

https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif (http://img401.imageshack.us/i/1002161y.jpg/)https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif (http://img401.imageshack.us/i/1002160.jpg/)https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif (http://img223.imageshack.us/i/1002163.jpg/)https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif (http://img527.imageshack.us/i/1002162.jpg/)https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif (http://img527.imageshack.us/i/1002164.jpg/)https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif (http://img507.imageshack.us/i/1002165.jpg/)https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif (http://img507.imageshack.us/i/1002166.jpg/)https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif (http://img526.imageshack.us/i/1002167.jpg/)

Wow. Interesting car.

Nova guys check out these pictures close.

Oddities that I saw:
68 style dash, with round pods
Different style console
Plastic style heater box cover.

It is cool to see these cars, and the differences, off shore.

Hi Rafa! I am fan of the make with the oval. I'm also from Argentina. Nice work you are doing on the chevy, I hope we can show how well we can work here in the south with very few resources!

I'm also working on a 250 with the same colors of yours. Here's a pic of it before placing it in a Nova 400.

Nice project looks good. I lived in Argentina for a couple of years in the patagonia. I always liked seeing these cars and the fiat 600 were a favorite too.
