Hello Pro-Touring,
I'm back into the automotive addiction after over a decade of just driving and watching. After several years of playing the street & strip thing with the daily driver, I saw the limitations of both. I tried the IMSA thing with a '74 Monza, but wanted something else. I was in the kit car business for a while... but again, wanted something different. Then along came R.J. Gottlieb and "Big Red" at the Silver State Classic. It took Mark Stielow to built the Mule in the pages of PHR before I began feel that this was possible for me.
So, here I sit. I have 8 incomplete cars with potential (potential is a really nice word for all the things a car doesn't have... yet). I have tools, machinery and a tiny amount of skill. I have dreams (Pro-Touring 1970 Cougar Eliminator). What I'm really bad at is planning a build correctly. I've been waiting for the Stielow book, "Building the Mule" to come out because I hear he expands on that area. Searching for that book is how I found this forum. Any assistance with planning (or any other area you feel needs addressing) will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for reading,
