OK so heres whats up.... I'm in the stages of tear down on my 1968 nova. I've got some rust around the rear window that leaked down the struts where the quarter panel supports and window meet. there are pinholes and rust. I'm going to replace both quarters anyways but i wanted some opinions. should i work this issue shown in the pictures with the quarters off or in? i got this car after it had been in storage for 6 years and i think it is worth saving. the rust/rot issues were not addressed properly when this car was painted before it was put in storage. my plan was to tack in some braces with the quarters off and tackle the rust in the structure shown as required.. some experienced opinions would be greatly appreciated.
