67 Firebird LS1 brake conversion-brake line question

Greetings,

I'm about to convert my power drum brakes on a 67 Firebird to LS1 brakes (front/rear). What kind of replacement brake lines should I get? According to major part suppliers (Classic tube, Right stuff), I have a choice of drum brake, front discs, front disc conversion lines. I was thinking of getting stock replacement (power drums), and get the flex hose from Tobin at Kore3.

Any suggestions are great appreciated.

I did my car with stock (replacement) lines and used the Kore3 flex lines to hook to the calipers. That way you don't have to worry about the SAE to Metric problem. I did use shorter metal lines on the rear axle to attach to the caliper hoses.

Edit: I used the drum/drum brake lines on my 67 El Camino. Didn't need to get a disc line set.

I did this exact same swap and used the braided line to make the SAE/Metric conversion.

The subframe hose brackets are different between a disc and drum car so make sure you get the hardlines for whatever hose brackets you have. The drum brackets give a little nicer configuration because the hose points down off the subframe rather than up off the subframe.
