They do make a hybrid ujoint. how much power do you have? You may want to have the end changed on your DS.

Which 10 bolt did you have? What car is it in? What u joint does your drive shaft use?
The 9 inch has a bunch of yokes. The car yokes are longer than the truck yokes. The 9 inich had 1310, 1330 and 1350 yokes, and companion flanges too.
Your drive shaft might need to be longer becasue of the difference in the length of the pinion. The 8.5 10 bolt with the 3R yoke is longer than the 8.2 or 12 bolt, so if you had the 8.5 then your drive shaft will probably be too short. I replaced my 12 bolt with a 9 inch and my drive shaft is too short even with the longr car yoke.

It will have the 1310 u joint. You can get a car 1310 yoke for the 9 inch, but it will be a used yoke. They don't make new car yokes. All of the new yokes are the shorter truck yokes. The car yoke should work fine and give you the right length for your drive shaft.
