I've been following this forum for years and I'm glad to finally register. I'm a long time road racing fanatic and muscle car junkie. I originally found this site about 6 years ago when I had a '68 Camaro that I was considering upgrading, but I had to sell it shortly after unfortunately.
I've been working on my '73 Pantera for about a year. It's the perfect combination of American muscle and race-car handling, for me anyway. Without going into too many details, the car is set up for open-road and road course racing, with modified suspension, a built 351 Cleveland and ZF trans, etc. Currently I'm in the process of replacing the electrical system with the ISIS Power system, updating the interior and repairing some body damage from track debris.

Thanks for having me, I'm sure I'll be hanging around and hopefully I can contribute as well as learn from the pro-touring veterans as I get the car ready for next season. With any luck it'll be back on the track (and the road) sooner rather than later.

There are a bunch of us that normally hit a few cruises/shows in the spring/summer/fall. Port Chester, Thornwood, Stamford, Bear Mountain to name a few.

Yes welcome very, very cool ride. Definately out of the norm but very cool. I have to admit one of my favorite all time exotics. What's in the rear a 390? Been quite a while since I have even seen one. Whatever you do dont sell it.

Hi HRK.... I have a 72 Pantera. Seen some of your post on the PIBB. I was the mod and 3rd member that join the BB but found that over the year it has change and it was more like badysitting. I saw your post about rewiring your car and you know what I am taking about. Anyway welcome..!

Thanks! That wiring thread took a nosedive, simply due to closed minded people - I know exactly what you mean. Anyway, beautiful cat, what wheels are those? They almost look like MC2 wheels but I didn't think they made wheels that size.

It'll be tracked for the most part, I'll take it to car meets and shows but it's primarily a track car.

Thanks guys - the pantera is a great car. High maintenance but great. Haven't had much time to work on it lately due to my job, but hoping to spend some time with it next month.
vids?
I only have one video, it's pretty poor quality but at least you can get an idea. Hopefully some better stuff to share soon.
