Well I've gone a complete different direction from my first thread of ''Touble'' my 68 Camaro so I might as well start a new one. It started out with all Wayne Dues front and rear suspension and quickly decided it was a little outdated and I wanted to try to keep up with everyone so I went with a complete setup from Jakes Rod Shop with his c6 style front subframe and rear torque arm. I need to thank Wegner Automotive Research in Markesan, W.I. for building me a 427 inch lsx powerplant. Also I would like to thank everyone at the Ring Brothers as you can see I'm getting some cool new carbon fiber body panels that they should be selling in the near future. And I cant forget about Carter Hickmans kick ass rendering! I will be posting build pics in the near future but for now here's a little something for your viewing pleasure.

That looks great. clean custom body lines always draw my interest.
Good call on the torque arm. I put a torque arm on my 96 and the handling was vastly improved. feels really smooth and stable, and I"ve pushed it hard on a road track and it did great.

I really like the rear spoiler/trunk lid. I wasn't into the bumper at first, but it didn't take long before it grew on me. I will have to keep up with this one.

From the rendering it appears you are doing flush glass and shaved drip rails too.

The more I look, the more I like. :)

Subscribed, nice work! I wonder how that rear split bumper concept would look on a 67 Firebird?? :kewlpics:

You mentioned Road America, where are you out of and what event are you trying to make it to?

EDIT: Durr, I just noticed the city name on your rendering. the event question stands though ;)

sink the place recessed in the same spot it goes now, will add sleakness but be somewhat easy to do.

Billet specialties makes a nice liscence frame with a light in it. What we use on Project Prodigy as we forgot that little detail in the thrash LOL! black anodize it and call it a day

I love it!!!!!

How many frickin hours do you have in that decklid? Totally awesome!!!! but really how much time do you have in it?
The deception of it looking so clean and beautiful is going to kill some poor soul trying to do it them selves.LOL

Your concept is so radical and refreshing that it will be a model for more ideas and duplication to came our way that will make the future of the 1st gen Camoros still be one of the most exciting cars to modify.

Put your pants back on as you have revealed more than most can stand to see,LOL

Is that there "basic" hood, or did you order it with the Carbon Fiber underside?

VERY sweet looking project, I am considering that hood too.

The basic hood is all glass I had it special ordered that way, I've had pretty bad shrinking issues with the carbon fiber matting so we decided to do a glass top, its really very light I think its a little over 20 lbs.
