I've been lurking on here for a while now, & it's about time I introduce myself & my car.

I'm Todd from Dyer, Indiana; about 30 min. southeast of Chicago. I have a '77 Camaro that I've owned/upgraded for about 7 years. Currently I'm starting an LS1 swap... hope it goes well!

I've gotten tired of the local cruise nights and have been running in the Indiana Northwest Region SCCA autocrosses held at the Majestic Star Casino in Gary. It's a blast, although I'd love to see more pro-touring cars out there. I was also lurking about the Motorstate Challenge and had a great time, although I didn't participate. I hope to get the LS1 running in time to participate this year!!

Nice 77, Looks great with polished bumpers. They are coming into their own. The 2nd Gen shape is much closer to the definitive muscle car than all the other boxier shapes in my opinion.

I'd love to go to fiberglass bumpers for the weight reduction, but IMO the polished bumpers define this era of Camaro (unless it's a Z28). If I could paint the glass ones with a convincing aluminum paint, I'd switch.

Welcome. Glad to see another '77 owner aboard. Mine is just a little less complete than yours.....
