Just upgraded my 69 camaro brakes to C5 fronts and a new MC/Booster Shown in the photo below.

Here is my problem, I can bleed out the fronts no problem but the rears I'm getting no fluid.

My MC and booster came with two rods a short and long which goes between the MC and booster. I used the long one. Not sure if this is the problem?

I pulled the line of the back of the proportioning valve and pressed the pedal fluid came out no problem.

Looks like your proportioning valve has a reset button ( I don't know the technical term for it)on the front of it. If so that could be the problem. The button blocks off fluid to the rear to prevent complete brake failure when the rear looses pressure. Resetting the button lets fluid pass to the rear.

That just happened to me... Try bleeding the master again.

Ok after all day playing with this I pulled it all off started with bench bleeding and the same thing:machine: The proportioning valve was bad. I even tested it like three times No light but it would not allow enough pressure, so I bypassed it and was able to bleed the system. WOW the car stops on a dime.. And the new front end handles great. this weekend I will get her aligned.

Thanks,
john
