Awesome!!! Any real reviews on it? When can I see it? I'm only across the bay, you know. Hey Vince, road trip across the bridge? Oh, and it may be just me, but it almost looks like it's upside down...... Then again, how would I know. I don't even own one.

Lookin good Rick. I'll get you out a pair of "Stealth" paddles so that you can run it with paddles in the 10 and 2 position without blocking your gauges. Looks like your steering wheel is larger than 14" diameter.
Thanks for posting.

You can gently bend the turn signal lever for clearance. Interference with the Billet Specialties lever is worse. But you can bend either one.

Wow, just saw the PHR ad for Twist Machine! (http://www.twistmachine.com)
Very informative for the man-u-matic newbies. I for one thought it was nice to see a fellow member helping to support our flagship magazine. Keep up the great work Steevo, next JD on the rocks is on me.

PS- It's on page 42, but the index won't tell you that.:rtfm:

You know Steve, I was thinking about that Shifter dillema that you and I were talking about (you know, hiding the manual shifter so only the paddles are visible). I was thinking about a 'column shifter' Steering column. You take the handle off and smooth out the stub that is left with some filler or such. I used to have one on my car before I had it converted. I remember being able to shift the car by just grabbing the cylinder with my hand and twisting it (without the handle). The configuration would be for a Powerglide but all you need is Park, Reverse, Neutral, and Drive.....right?

Thanks Tyler.
Tony that is correct. You no longer have to worry about missed shifts or reverse lockout on your mechanical shifter. All performance shifting is now done with the paddles--which only actuate the forward gears. As there is absolutely no chance of hitting Park, Reverse or Neutral with the paddle shifter, you can pretty much do whatever you want with your mechanical (floor or column) shifter.

I just got back from Steevo's a few hours ago. A little feedback on the new paddles-- the new design is absolutely awesome in person. The look, the feel, everything. Sitting in his car air shifting with the new paddle setup is like sitting in an Aston Martin or something similar. Way cool, highly recommended. Now I just need to get my car done so I can get a set. :hammer:

Well crap!!! Now I wish I hadn't had my column converted. DAMN IT!!!!
Am I really going to do the unthinkable? Sell my newly restored floor column for a used or rebuilt column shifter column?
I'm going to have to think about this one. Story of my life....always in the wrong place at the wrong time. :banghead:

Anytime Rick.
BTW, I promised a third paddle design this week. Here are all three side by side. The third design (show in the middle) is more european, sportscar style. I'm curious which paddle shape each of you prefer? Shark, Sport, Stealth. Check-in please.

I like the stealth. Powder-coated in black.

I like the Stealth and the sport. Now we can start photoshopping them into our steering wheel of choice to pick the right one.

I think it would depend on the wheel selection but I like both the sport and stealth.
Don't you just love this kind of answer? What good is a decision that is a non decision? :dunno:
