Hey everyone, Just wanted to drop a line on this great forum. I live in Tennessee and am the shop manager at Mondello Tech Center, and I am just starting a pro touring project with my 1974 cuda. I am planning many major modifications over the next few years. The car is my first car and I have had it since I was 15, and I plan on turning it into my perfect (if there is such a thing) driving machine. Being that I build race engines for a living I plan on using the car as a showcase for our line of late model hemi's. I will post pictures and updates as I can.

I commented on your project update thread already but I am looking forward to seeing what you do with the Hemi. I have a 5.7 with 6.1 cam and no other mods at this point. I'm looking to get as much power out of it as possible, still keeping it streetable and looking for over 20 mpg highway. Hoping those don't conflict... Good luck on the build.

I was planning two engines for my project. The first sounds alot like what you were looking to do. I am building a 5.7 hemi with the stock bottom end with the exception of coatings, a set of our 5.7 hemi heads decked to get 10.5-11:1 compression and one of our custom cam grinds to get around 450 horsepower and 20-25 miles to the gallon on the highway. The second one I have planned is a 6.1 hemi bored and stoked to 426 inches with a Magnuson supercharger hoping to produce around 700 horsepower.
If you need any help with your engine project let us know, we do all kinds of hemi's from nostalgia 392's to 3000 horsepower blown alcohol drag motors.

I dunno if you saw but Hotchkis just released their geometrically corrected upper control arms for the A body's. I am going to be running all of their products on the front end of my '68 Charger project. Check around youtube and Jay Leno's page for the E-Max Challenger they built as a test bed, it is sweet

I believe that I am going to be using XV Motorsport's Level II front and rear suspension, but for now I am getting the shell cleaned and most of the body work finished before I order the suspension.

I posted a few pictures of what progress I have made so far in this thread. https://www.pro-touring.com/forum/showthread.php?t=62910 I know that there is not much done yet, but there are only so many hours in the day.

Thanks Motorcity - How's the Charger build going?
Here's the Leno Video (http://www.jaylenosgarage.com/at-the-garage/muscle-cars/1970-hotchkis-dodge-challenger-340-ta/)
We had a great time at Jay's shop. You can't even be jealous of his amazing collection because he's so nice!

We have a complete E-body TVS which would work perfectly on a '74 'cuda. There's a lot of good parts out there, but we've been testing the Hotchkis parts (and letting Jay test them!) on the track and on the street. We know the parts will give you great handling and a safe and durable street ride. Not all the competitors have such a healthy testing program.
If you have any questions about our Mopar TVS (http://www.hotchkis.net/search.html?Make=13&Model=1247&SubmitForm=Search), give us a call, we're happy to talk about the new parts.
