Hey Guys,
Been lurking around the forum for a bit now, thought it would be time to post some pics of my project. It has an Art Morrison Chasis under it, the sheet metal is currently being replaced and the floor is being built. let me know what you guys think. The car is being built out here in Canada at Radical Rides, they do some killer work!
The wheels are just a test fit from another project they are doing.

Here is an example of some of the builds that Radical Rides has done. The builds are on their site Radicalrides.net; but I can't begin to define what that Cuda sounds like in person. I have seen the Hummer recently and that thing is insane!

Good looking project. Can you give any details on how Radical Rides is attaching the body to the chassis? I'm doing this next year with my Dart and want to see what others are doing / have done.
Welcome!

I can give you some detail, but Bill at Radical can help you more than I can, shoot him an email or give him a call at the shop, he's a good guy and very helpful. They are also doing the same process with the another build (Bandit Trans AM) there are detailed pictures on the site.
The Cuda belongs to someone in my family and that car has to been seen (and Heard!) in person, it has a full Air Ride, Aruzza Hemi, custom interior and a list of features that goes forever.

Welcome!
We have constructed new inner rockers and tied them in to the frame welded solidly same at the rear building a inner structure to support the bumper and rear taillight panel the body has also been channeled down a bit to get the car a little lower but still provide ground clearance ...if you want a few more pics I can send you some so you can see what I mean about the inner structures We are doing four other morrison chassis cars as we speak so I can give you a few pictures at various stages ...

here are a couple pics we are just doing some mock up work right now and making mounts we set er back a wee little bit ...

I think saying the engine is "a wee little bit" set back is like saying you are building "slightly modified camaro". A few more inches and that will be a mid-engine car. So I have to ask why so far back? I have the Wegner drive on my LS2 (without the supercharger but it has the same water pump spacer) in my 68 camaro and had plenty of room in the front. You must be trying for the ever elusive 50/50 weight distribution. I hope you plan on driving the snot out of that car with all the go fast parts on it.
Good luck with the build. Looks like a great project.

Had to set it so we could get it low enough in the chassis for hood clearance we have a morrison chassis under the car and have channeled the body down low on it so it sits super slammed and is totally drivable the other thing is we want this thing to handle stupid good so it has a little to do with the weight distribution...hehe..all the cars we design are done with the thought of beating the hell outta em and have em so they work ...maybe even look a little cool..lol and because I really like cars that are slammed ..here is a pic of a chevy II we are building again channeled and canned on the ground the motor is set way back also... this one is a twin turbo LS :smoke:
