Hello , Im a High school student planning to work in the Automotive performance industry. I own a 1970 C10 Longbed with a 350/th400.
I work on it in my driveway and in shop class.

I love reading about everyones projects and am learning a lot from this forum.
My current plan is to learn fabrication and Bodywork and get my ASE certifications through my local school before going to the School of Automotive Machinists to learn engine building , head porting and CnC machining.

If any shop owners / Manufacturers have any advice about what they look for in employees it is much appreciated.

Thank you for your hospitality :twothumbs

Welcome Aboard! Glad to see another Alaska popping their head in. I'm in Anchorage myself, been here for 20 years (of my 28).

You'll find some awesome ideas on this forum, great place to be and one of, if not the most, friendly, helpful forums I've EVER been on!

Juneau is rainy. I guess that is always the forecast. Looks like at least a few people in Anchorage. Next time up that way I'll have to look you guys up.
