Hello new guy here... I am working on a 1985 Pontiac Grand Prix. I am in the process of doing a C6 brake swap with spindles out of a 2000 2wd blazer. I got referred here by the guy who sold me the the calipers. He already got me the abutment brackets, rotors hardware. I need to know what what bracket to use to mount these to my spindles. I will be using a 1LE Camaro 36mm sway bar with this. I am rebuilding my front suspension using some PolyGraphite bushings and either some Moog 5662 or 5658 springs.I will be using my stock a-arms. Does my combination sound ok? I just want a decent handling car. From what i read i will have to upgrade my wheels to 17in rims. My car already has the F41 supension and i will be boxing my rear lower arms with stiffer bushings. I will be putting in a Posi in my 7.625 Monte SS rear end. I am still debating on using a stock Auburn posi unit or installing a Zexel Torsen unit out of a F-body. Any suggestions?

I've got a set of the brackets with the mounting and banjo bolts if you want 'em. C5 setup. I got them from
Jason Hurst. You'll need to run at least 17" wheels with a C5 setup (13" rotor). Don't box the rear lower arms
if you're going for handling you'll want them to have some flex. The stock bushings should work ok. Check the
post I put up on your intro thread.

I'm currently running Hotchkis springs and a 1" bar. I've got a set
of 2" drop springs I'm going to put in to drop it some more. I also
have a frame brace to connect the 2 sides of the frame, not sure
if you need this with your metal bumpers but probably couldn't hurt.

Is this the front frame brace? I already have the front frame brace along with the jounce bars, fender to header panel and cowl to header panel bars. I have most of the bracing i think..I am going to have to measure my rear sway bar and as for the rear springs i'm still debating on what to use Moog wise. I haven't bought any springs yet ,so it's still in the works on what i'm going to use.

It's a triangular piece that connects the crossmember to the frame horns: http://scandc.com/chassisbraces.htm
Call Mark at SC&C and see what he recommends for springs I know there's been some problems with their springs.
He's a wealth of information on G Body cars.

I've reading about the Moog quality control issues they've been having on a few other sites as well. I will try to get see what other options i have. I guess the price is what was attractive about them. but you get what you pay for....problem is i am trying to keep it on a budget:) Hey whitess did you get my pm? interested in the brackets

Just got it. I sent you a PM with a picture of the brackets too. :)
There's a place in Denver called Denver Spring and Suspension, I'll bet they can probably make
whatever spring you want, I'll probably talk to them when I replace the front springs on mine: http://denverspringandsuspension.com/index.htm
