Hello, have been lurking for a bit now and really like the site. I am new to pro-touring and am building a g-body. It is a 1985 Pontiac Grand Prix L.E. I am aiming for a decent street handling car. Looking for some input.:worship:
Here is some pics of my car.

Welcome to the site, tons of great ideas.
I lived in Denver 5 yrs, and Colo Spgs another 7, great place!
My SS was daily driver up there, do they still do the emissions testing?
What a PITA that was.

Thanks for the responses! I am also a member of Gbody forum too!

I lived in Denver for about 7years then moved back to Brighton which is about 25 Northeast of Denver. I work for Denver though so i have the daily drive. I am still required to get a smog test and have had problems ever since i swapped my stock 305 to a Targetmaster 350. I am using a Edelbrock 1405 carb which i think is the problem even though i leaned it out. I am afraid to lean it out more seeing as i don't want to burn a piston out... I am new to most of this though.I was hoping to pass my emissions and getting collector plates and not worrying about it anymore.:) Though i could register my car in Weld county but from i heard they will be requiring smog testing too pretty soon. I am in the process of doing a C6 brake upgrade with some S-10 spindles. I recently picked up a 36mm 1LE front sway bar which i plan on using. I am really trying to keep it budget oriented.. I plan on using 5658 or 5662 Moog springs but haven't decided on them yet. I have always liked G-body Pontiac's ever since my first which was a 79 Grand Prix though most any g body will do.. I just want my Pontiac to keep up with some late model muscle:)

More Colorado folks. :) I live in Frederick, spent most of my life in Boulder.
I've got an '85 SS with the SC&C Stage 2 kit, a 1" rear bar and a Lee steering box (still with the
15" wheels). It's also got the Blazer 2WD spindles and Hotchkis springs. Any time you'd like to come
up and go for a ride to see what it's like let me know. Send me a PM and I'll give you my phone #.
Larry.
