View Full Version : Anyone hear of the scuderi engine?

this has been a big thing around where i live. and ive been hearing about people investing big money into stocks with this. but it just doesnt seem to impressive and almost behind its time. i mean they got cars that run on water now. all i can think of when i see this is a two stage air compressor, just pushing a lot of air from a big cylinder into a smaller cylinder. what do you guys think?

I wonder how expensive they are to produce ???
And how "clean " they run ..

Expense is paramount especially talking about boosted pressures in the 1500-2000 psi range.
May make a good compact car engine just dont see its benefits in say a work truck,,,yet.
the idea works, but the materials wouldnt work in prototypes way back when ,but then neither did diesels stuff work great till technology met with design. now diesels are near bullet proof, just very dirty till current technology has started cleaning them up and still a very dirty technology. Even the direct injected stuff isnt as clean as first claimed it would be.
