In the new June issue you will see a story Johnny did about how to photograph your car and get it in PHR. It is a good read and points out some of the mistakes that people make when taking pictures of their rides.
I hope many here take the time to submit a picture for the contest. It would be really cool to have a PT car win it. Remember that it is NOT the car that will win it is how the picture is composed and shot. The schwag bag prize is pretty good also :)
The weather is nice now so grab a camera, read the story and send us some kick butt submissions.
Oh, and let me know if you like the features I wrote, they were my first ever (the blue 69 was my first). I also did the tech letters but they forgot to change the name on it.. lol..
I am always open to constructive critsium.. Oh, the scrub radius story is very good also so be sure to check it out!
Now go take them pictures!!

Read the darn magazine!!!!
;)
j/k.. but to be honest I don't have a copy here with me.. I am pretty sure they gave a pretty good amount of time to get submissions sent in.

Maybe this is the motivation I need to get my car back together by my 5/1/5 deadline.
Do PhotoChopped pictures count?

Nope.. although with a digital camera I suppose you could fix little things and who would know.
Besides, it sounds like the pics will be judged mostly on how it is composed (angle, lighting, backgroud) and how well the submitter followed the tips laid out by Johnny..
Deadline is end of June.. you can send in a few (up to 5) shots.
Have fun with it, sure it's not gonna make you faster but it is nice to have good pictures of your ride :)

Steve, I've read the mag. I thought you did a fine job on all the articles, especially the feature. Keep up the good work.

Another good way to get your car into PHR? Show up at the Year One Experience next weekend (April 22-24) in Commerce, GA. Thats where they shot my car last year, along with about 6 other featured cars.
Details at www.YearOne.com
I'll be there in the '69 again this year :)
