I'm looking for something that resembles a basset racing wheel -but in 17x9.5" and 17x10.5" low offset on both.

I can deal with 17x10"

does not have to be exactly like the basset just in the size and offset and basic style.. preferably lite as well.

Thanks in advance folks!

Cragar has wheels that are similar in 17x9. Summit Racing has them for around $75.00 .

Is this going on a SN95 mustang?

Check around for a local wheel place that'll weld new hoops in or widen the existing ones. Many years ago I looked into widening a set of 15" AR 767s (similar D-hole wheels) and I was quoted $150/wheel locally. Now they come in 17-inch sizes from a couple manufacturers.

The problem I found with steel wheels is that the offsets always grow to the positive end as they get wider, I suppose the wheel makers would rather you hit your fenders than suspension parts. I could never find a wide steelie close to zero offset.

As far as being "lite", well.. good luck. Unless you're looking for an aluminum version. The "Billet GN" (http://centerlinewheels.com/wheels_detail.php?mw_id=35&sw_id=443) is pretty close but that's just off the top of my head.

yeah I know... I was running 15x8 and they were 20+lbs

I was really hoping to find something aluminum that looked similar.

Black Rock (Cragar) makes an aluminum D window in 17x8 I think. Thats really the only option. I've been looking for 6 months now. I have a set of 17x9 black steelies from Black Rock on my 4x4 with 40" tires on them. Each wheel is something like 40 pounds a piece. too heavy.
