Hey guys, Ive been lurking around the site for a couple of days and decided it was time to introduce myself. My name is Ryan im 22 years old and yes i have "another 69 camaro" Ive had it since I was 16 and have had it go through many "stages." Back then i was into chrome shinny parts that did nothing for performance, then I got into drag racing and now im finally getting into the pro-touring scene. I "work" at Sire Custom Performance in Southern Cali with my very good friend and mentor Yannick Sire. He does custom fab work on anything and everything, he built the dual engine car in Hot Rod Mag a couple of months back, he's a really good guy and Im glad to be able to learn so much from him.
A little about my car- Its a 69 camaro with a 72 camaro (2nd gen) front clip/subframe. I wanted something different from all the "bolt in" clips around, many of them used mustang II stuff and didnt change the steering from rear steer to front steer, and were expensive. The 2nd Gen clip is great, those cars from the factory handle amazing and I thought it would be cool to do something that, as far as i know, has never been done before. All the work on my car was done at Sire Custom Performance by Master Fabricator Yannick Sire and myself.
