I've decided i'm going to move my battery to the trunk, but i realized how horrible it looks behind the battery due to wiring/ poorly fitting aftermarket sheetmetal. I don't want to look at that and the driver side has the wiring harness running through the opening. I started to make some block off panels so that it cleans it up a bit. I started with steel plate, but its a bit too thick to work with easily and tin snips are having a tuff time getting through it. It still needs some refinement but i plan on makeing the final piece out of aluminum. Still need to make one for the passenger side.

Will paint the final one satin black like the inner fenders.

Kind of a teaser shot.

Got them mocked up now but i'm going to have to repaint my inner fenders and radiator support, they were supposed to be satin when the car was getting repaired from its accident earlier this year but came out more flat than anything.

Personally I like the look of the fenderwells, I would repaint the new pieces to match them. IMHO.

I like the sheen of the fenderwells, but they just always look dirty if you know what i mean, thats why i'm trying to get a little more black in them.
