Exhaust tips?

Currently have dumps and I am getting tired of the booming. Should I

1) keep the exhaust hidden,
2) Bring tips (3" slant) out under tail panel, or
3) cut out the tail panel and run the tips under that?

I have mine routed like the ones under that Trans Am....mainly to keep the smell of exhaust on the outside of my car.

I wouldn't cut any sheetmetal.... I would use the TransAm setup...

ditto, i always prefer hidden. One of my favorite parts of second gens is how naturally they lend themselves to a setup like this.

Keep it hidden but angle the outlet so that the sound waves bounce out behind the car and not back to it. If it is still bad you can try adding a rearward facing tip.
