From what I've seen and read on here, It seems as though Mike M and Mary P are the 2 dominating forces at a lot of the auto-X.

That looks like a really well sorted out mustang. I like it.

Mike Maier bought this car in 2003. The coupe had already the motor work done and the electrical was also completed. Mike started saving parts as soon as he got the car. After a fair amount of time he decided to complete the car for his wedding. He was originally going to get married in November of 2005 and the car was a mere shell with only a motor in it as of September 2005. With the help of his "Night Crew" buddies and Magnasen's Car West Auto Body they compleed it within a week of his wedding vows!

I keep telling Mikey how much faster he'd be if that car had leaf springs ... LOL!! Seriously, that Mustang's one very well sorted out car and extremely well driven. Mike can wheel most anything to a quick time and hope to see Maier Racing at more GoodGuys next year.

Cheers,
Mary Pozzi

Just goes to show that you don't have to have the latest and greatest stuff to make a car handle and go well. Well sorted, good rubber, and great driving are a great combination.
