Hello all, My name is Joe and Im from Pittsburgh Pa. I have a 1968 nova. This is my second nova. My first was a 69 that kinda rotted into the ground. I decided instead of requartering and putting in new floors to just go out to arizona and find a clean shell. I hve been trying to keep it close to original but recently a buddy of mine showed me his 71 chevelle pro-tourer which has a ls 408 engine in it and suspension and brakes....Well we went and had some beers and wings...then some more beers. by the time the night was over I was sold. F show cars ..I wanna drive it. All the money Ive spent on date code correct crap an Nos parts I coulda had alot of updates done already.
The nova is very clean .a good jump off point. I kept my 327 out of the 69.Eventually I am sure Ill go Ls powered but for now Ill keep spinning the mighty mouse. It is a 63 small journal 327 with world heads, teamG intake, old Thorley headers, a holley 750, mallory ignition.. back in the 90s it went 11.7 with a tunnel ram 2 450 holleys and a 4.56 gear.
Ill be spraying on it this summer to see what happens. I have an LQ4 4l80 waiting in the wings just in case.

Well I'm rambling on ..can't wait to learn some new tricks for my old dog.
