Stereo advice needed

[1962nova]

I am going to do a very basic stereo in my nova, just some kick panel speakers and some small under the dash speakers.

I have to desire to have a FM/AM radio. Is there a easy way to have a stereo system with just my IPod? Do I still need some sort of head unit?

Kent, do a search on iphone or ipod stereo, and several threads should pop up.

dont use the 3.5 jack. get a adaptor that plugs into multipin output, this is a true preamp output. the 3.5 jack will send a clipped signal to amp at high volume.

you can do that but,you need to turn the input on the amp down. This way it is not boosting the signal into clipping.

We have sold a few setup with the custom autosound hidden system or in has deck. They have an ipod adapter that will charge and control the ipod through the deck.

Checkout diamond audio speakers, they are by FAR the best sounding 6.5" and 5.25 speakers i have ever heard for the $$$

There are some good deals on ebay for them, thats where i buy mine. Amazing mid bass and highs!
