Need some help with colors (Blue or Black)

Guys/Gals,
I need some help on deciding on a color for my project Firebird. I have a 67' that I have been working on for awhile. My original intent was to paint the original color (verado green), but the wife doesn't like it. She has been getting more involved with the project as time goes on, so I would like her to be part of the project. Anyway she is set on either a blue or black. In the case of black I think Glasurit black (I think its called lamp balck?) would be my shade. My problem is blues. Anyway long story short what I am looking for is advice on what blues you guys/gals think would look best of a first gen bird. Any pics or paint codes would help. Thanks!

You could always go with the BMW Jerez Black Metallic. Very pretty color, especially in the sunlight. Looks black until you catch it in the sun, then you see the deep blue undertone. Just an option. Good luck.

I personally like very dark colors on the 67-68 firebird, I painted mine black and I like it alot. A blue like 'midnight blue' or the aforementioned BMW paint will look very good on one of these cars. Check out the second Matrix film, The one with Jada Pinkett driving a 68 bird, all black, looks cool.

If you already have a blacked picked out, you are probably leaning towards that color over blue, go with the black! That's what i'm going with on the camaro, you can't beat the look of a black car after its been waxed :smoke:
