I swapped a Vortec 350 into my 68 Chevelle. I need suggestions as to how I should mount the PCM. Right now I just have it rigged up with some zip-ties... not really a nice way to show off my engine swap.
So, anyone have any suggestions? I'd really prefer to not have to lengthen the wires. Does anyone know of an aftermarket mounting bracket or something for the GM black box PCMs?

i always lengthen the harness drill and grommet a hole in the tranny tunnel then put them under the center console on the camaros i havent fooled with the chevelles much but i would go ahead and lengthen the harness and get that pcm inside the vehicle

So, do you just use same gauge wire and cut and solder it? That is a lot if wires!!! Also, doesn't the wire bundle get kind of thick in that spot?
If I do this I don't know where in the car I would put it. I don't have a center console and soon I will have a huge Vintage Air unit under the dash. But it sure isn't a pretty thing to have in the engine bay.
Under either fender should work ok if you have inner fenders. put a 90 in a piece of aluminum screw it to the firewall and mount the PCM to it.
