nice pics man - I will have to crank out some eruption today
they were my fav band in high school in the early 80s.
I am figuring out which wheels I am going to do on my next project - I will call you guys to discuss - remember the ones I won at the dinner!
Maybe I can fly out and you guys can personally help me select them :D

i'm sure he's a cool guy, but i don't think Michael Anthony has been a "full time rock star" for about 20 years. yeah, he was in Van Halen- but not any more. and Chickenfoot is just a bunch of old rock stars in a "super group" reliving their glory days.

Wow, pretty bitter there did a musician steal your girlfriend once or something?
Seriously, Michael has been touring almost every year and the last Van Halen tour was the only one he did not participate.
You may also want to check your stats on "old rock stars in a super group" comment. Chickenfoot charted #4 on Billboard and Itunes and the album is on its way to Platinum.

He must be a full-time rock star if he's still playing in a band with a large following of fans. Are you mad that the awesome group Van Halen broke up? :) I've gotten over it.

Seriously?
Mike Anthony is not a rock star?
Dude, you need to lay off crack pipe. Once the fog in your head clears, you'll remember that Van Halen was about as Rock Star as Rock Star gets, and Mike Anthony was in the thick of it. Most people wouldn't have been able to survive half the **** he's been through.
Oh, and those "old rock stars" you refer to. Well, they just happen to be some of the most talented musicians in the industry. So, if they're re-living their, as you say, "glory days," I'm all over it. Chickenfoot's album (I'm dating myself by calling it an album), recording is a fine dose of rock 'n roll from the "glory days."
Hey, you know that band, "The Rolling Stones?" They might be big someday. You should check them out too.

I got to meet both Mike and Brad last year and let me tell you, they both make you feel comfortable and are easy to talk to. I ran into Brad a few times at SEMA this year and I figured that he wouldn't remember me. Not only did he stop by to say hi, he even came up to my wife and said hello to her. Chickenfoot might not be doing stadiums but they dont have to. They are just doing what they enjoy.

Chickenfoot re-lives the glory days of Montrose and Michael Anthony lays down his deep bass grooves as always and the harmonies with Sammy remind me of classic Van Halen...this album rocks and I dig it.:yum:
