Stock is coming in on the GM door handles. Holy smokes - I never thought I would consider a car part beautiful but these things are amazing! The standard finish will be polished and from there you can do a lot of different combinations. We are trying to determine what to offer... let me know what you think of these different options.

So... anyone in on the group buy back in September got a smokin deal! I promised to honor that price so I will. The actual retail is going to be $349.99. It turns out that they are more difficult to machine than the Mustang handle which is what we were basing our pricing off.
This is higher than we ever intended but the piece is absolutely amazing so we couldn't just scrap it.
Let me know what you guys think.

Any versions available that are smooth, without the socket head screws? These would look great on a modern themed car, but weird on a classic themed car.

At the moment they only come as a two-piece option. They were designed to give a modern look to the original handle. If we end up coming out with a solid handle I will update you!

Good Lord boys - I can't keep up with you. We are coming out with the hinges for the tri-fives so maybe the handles will come soon. I need to take a look at a set.

Staci,
Would it be difficult to turn the screws around to put them in from the back? That way the handle could still be a two piece unit with only a machining change to the existing pieces.

I will have to check with the guys on this. It is so difficult to design something that will please everyone. It would be great to have an easy fix that would get rid of the bolts for guys that don't want that look. I'll check on Monday. I am not familiar with the whole process but I will get back to you.
Thank you for all of the feedback.

It will probably depend on if the countersunk holes in the trim piece are being used as set-up or tooling locators. Drilling and tapping blind holes is a bit more difficult than doing a thru hole as I am sure the current handle design has. It looks to me like it may be worth pursueing...
By the way, the handles are beautiful!

IMHO, the screws are what makes these handles different. Without, they would look close to stock, so what would be the difference?

They look great! Is a chromed set an option? I know, old fashion, but what I like.

Man I'm glad I got in on the GP!! the Chrome looks SO NICE, heck they all look nice! For me though it's got the be black body with black trim or maybe black body with graphite trim.

I didn't see a black body pictured though, that will be on option won't it?

The first batch of handles has been shipped. They will be in stock pretty soon and will take care of everyone that was on the GP.

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't been on here for a while. For anyone that is left on the group buy for door handles - I should have stock by January 29th.
The handles turned out amazing! I didn't think I was going to sell them so quickly! I had the last order ran as prototypes so I could get them sooner. The production run is what is taking longer.

Thank you,
Staci

The handles will come polished. From there if there are guys that want to have them anodized I can have them sent out too.
We have had a problem with production on these handles to say the least! I was promised dates a long time ago that haven't been met yet. The new date is this Thursday. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
Usually we try not to post anything until it is in hand to avoid these problems. Unfortunately I didn't think the manufacturing process was going to take this long.
I hope the wait is worth it!

Thank you,
Staci

It was sure worth Stacy. We received the handles overhere. Very nice parts and lightweight. Thanks again for the GP.

I'd go in on a GP for these now as well---maybe Twinkee (Staci) will have time to bend Jim & Mike's ear for us--smooth talk them into doing another one.

Staci is already working on this - see lat-g. We're all just waiting for the green light. I think they're in the process of finishing a few more parts to offer.

Thanks!
