I have a 78 Impala that I recently swapped rearends for a disc brake equipped limited slip 8.5 out of 90's model 9c1 the problem is the lines from the caliper do not fit the little brass block that bolt's to the top of the pumpkin. Can I get a rubber line with the proper brass block or am I stuck with having to fab new lines to the calipers. I would prefer just replacing the short rubber line because I have no Idea about how to fab all new lines. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated

Fabbing new rear axle lines is actually quite easy since they're relatively short and easily accesible. You probably can find an OE rubber hose to fit your needs, but it'll take a little digging to do so...you might have better luck with getting recommendations by posting up what you have with respect to length and fittings that you're trying to match. To the best of my knowledge, both the '78 Impala and mid-90's 9C1 used the same 7/16-24 female inverted flare fitting at the body end and a (2x) 3/8-24 female inverted flare tee fitting at the axle, but maybe not. In any event, it would help to know what you're trying to match explicitly rather than by application.

Assuming you can specify what you want with respect to fittings and length, you also have the option to go with an aftermarket braided stainless hose.

I thought they where the same too and the actually thread into the tee quite nicely but they do not seal properly. I'll do more homework maybe there is something wrong with the flare I'll give it a closer visual inspection
