Could someone please explain the effects of SVSA length in a front suspension? Is there any down fall to having too long of an SVSA?
In a rear suspension it's said that you don't want to have too short of an SVSA because of potential brake hop. Too long, and it's difficult to get good anti-squat. I've found it difficult to gather it's effects in the front.
I have no solid number yet, however I would like to utilize a long SVSA in my Front suspension. I realize that, in combination with the CoG, it somewhat effects Anti-dive, however I'm planning to use a very moderate amount. By having the long SVSA, I'm also reducing the caster change through travel.
Am I missing anything that I'll be giving up?
