1970-81 Camaro Chassis Max Handle Bars (http://www.hotchkis.net/197081_camaro_chassis_max_handle_bars.html)

Chassis Max Handle Bars from Hotchkis are a critical component for any high-performance 1970-81 Camaro. The second generation F-Body subframe can flex during hard cornering, altering suspension geometry, tire contact patch and alignment. Hotchkis has solved this problem by applying nature's strongest shape: the triangle. Handle Bars tie the control arms to the cowl and firewall with high-strength tubing and CNC bent brackets for maximum strength and rigidity. The result is incredible handling and driver control that makes the most of your high performance Camaro suspension.

•Powder Coated, Anthracite Finish.
•Fabricated from 1.5" steel tubing, TIG welded to precision CNC bent brackets.
•CAD designed for superior fit and finish, all parts designed and manufactured in the USA
•Works with most suspension systems and engine installations
•Easy, Bolt In Installation

•Rigidly connects upper control arms to the cowl and firewall, which dramatically reduces chassis, flex during hard cornering and acceleration.
•Prevents changes in geometry, alignment and tire contact patch during high g-cornering.
•Improves driver control, handling and overall feel. Perfect final addition for any street machine, pro-touring car, autocross or road race Camaro.

Yes, I am going to be that guy. Please explain what advantages these pose over the Herb Adams design bars that are now sold by Pro Touring F body.

they are nice and symmetrical, and if they fit with my engine swap, that'll be a bonus, as the ptfb bars do not--but that's all I see.

Hi guys,

Thanks for your questions, let me see if I can get them answered for you.

Those look great, wonder if they would fit with my hydroboost and ls swap and ring bros hinges They will fit with hydroboost and the LS, but we have not tested them with the Ring Bros hinges so we don't know about that. Sorry

Please explain what advantages these pose over the Herb Adams design bars that are now sold by Pro Touring F body. Just like sway bars, intake manifolds and camshafts, we are very lucky in our hobby to have options and choices for different products - and at Hotchkis we try not to slam other manufacturers or their products. Instead we'll focus on our own hardware - first off, we offer Handle Bars for both 1st and 2nd Gen F-Bodies. Both sets offer CNC-bent brackets, TIG welded tubing and CAD design for superior fit and finish. They're also made in-house in our fab shop so you know you're getting the same quality as the rest of our suspension line.
