Who makes a good clutch alignment tool, not the plastic crap that sags from the waight of the clutch, trying to get my TKO to line up and it wont, I think its because of this.

Rick,

I'll bet it won't go in that last 3/8" right? I initially had trouble getting my TKO lined up and seated completely as well. In the end I pushed the trans in as far as it would go, then had a friend get in the car and press in the clutch. This freed the clutch from the pressure plate and allowed me to move the trans and completely seat it in the pilot bearing. Trust me, I fought that sucker for an hour or so and with the clutch disengaged it popped right in!

HTH,
Dan

Quarter Master makes beautifuly machines, steel clutch alignment tools. Can't remember what they go for, but you can call them and find out. They are offered in 10 and 26 spline.
