Im going to be installing 4 wheel discs on my 67' GTO in the near future. Im probably going to go with an aftermarket master cylinder to operate them. With these modern high pressure master cylinders, do I really need power assist or would I be fine with a 4 wheel disc setup and just the good master cylinder? Im looking for street performance, primarily. What masrter cylinder would you recommend. I know Wilwood has been a popular choice. Is there a specific one i should be looking at?

You can make 4-wheel discs work well in manual, vacuum boosted and hydro-boost configurations. While manual gives the most feedback and control, it also takes the most actuation effort, making it less suitable to higher mileage daily driving type of applications for some people. That said, manual systems tend to be the simplest, lightest and least expensive option of the three.

Before you get specific on what master cylinder you might want to run, you'll need to get specific with respect to what calipers/pads/rotors you intend to run. Any idea what sort of 4-wheel disc setup you might by running in the future?

Well being that its a street car and im on a budget i was going to go with somthing like this from CPP

Does anyone have expierence with this kit? It seems very reasonably priced to me and supposedly everything they sell is American made {wich i am a big fan of}

I would just hope that this would fit behind some 17" TT2's
