View Full Version : Optima cars from the Eiffel Tower

Yesterday the wife and I were enjoying some of the sites of the vegas strip after SEMA and we decided the go check out the Eiffel Tower. While we were up there I kept hearing the great sound of motors growling down the strip, which caught my attention immediately. I looked down from 460' and I see Old Penny and a few other Optima challenge cars crusing the strip. Thought I would share.

Cool! I was staying at the Stratosphere when I was there a few weekends ago. That was way up there. We went up at night so it was gorgeous seeing all the lights from way out. Wouldn't have been able to make out a car from up there unfortunately.

funny ive been in the real Eiffel tower and been to vegas 3 times but never made it up in that one yet..lol cool pics..

Like Rubes said. The red 3/4 ton Chevy truck in the middle lane in the first 3 pictures. Who is hanging out the window on the truck? Taking pictures of the group cruising?

If you look close, you will see the back of the truck is full. That is the Speed Channel guys that followed us around. There will be a 30 show about the Optimal Challenge in January, and the cars in SEMA driving in Vegas will be a very short part of that.
